We are looking for someone with the below qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Master in Taxation or Master of Accountancy with a tax focus
  • CPA or have passed part of the CPA Exam already
  • Experience with tax software (preferably Drake Software) with the desire to quickly learn new software packages.
  • Three-four years’ experience in preparing complex individual, partnership, corporate and S-Corp tax returns as well as the research of tax issues
  • Works well with managing a variety of projects and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service oriented – really enjoys people and getting to know our clients, their businesses and the industries that they operate in.
  • Works well independently or as part of a team.

Job Duties to Include:

  • Sales tax filings
  • Review Employee Expenses Reports for Reimbursements
  • AP & AR
  • Weekly Bank/Credit Reconciliations & Report Disputes
  • Journal Entries
  • AP Entries and Batch Checks for Approval
  • Ensure Accurate Job Costing on All Projects in Quickbooks for Contracts, Subcontracts, Change Orders and Purchase Orders
  • Review & Audit Contracts, Invoices, Pay Applications
  • Review and Monitor Certificates of Insurance, Lien Waivers, Notice to Owners and work with Legal Counsel for Liens, Providing Lien Releases
  • Provide and Update daily Project Job Cost Breakdowns
  • Tracking of Purchase Orders and Confirmation of Delivery with Field Personnel
  • Maintain Accurate Accounting Filing
  • Create Statistical & Financial Spreadsheets for Vendors & Manufacturer Pricing
  • Work closely with two CPAs and clients.
  • Maintain various client accounts and assist with QuickBooks analysis.
  • Assist clients when accounting transaction questions are needed
  • Communicate with CPAs and other team members about clients matters.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Construction Bookkeeping Background A Must
  • Construction Software Experience
  • College Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
  • In-depth Knowledge of Quickbooks (Advance)
  • Advanced Knowledge of Excel
  • Minimum of 4-5 Years Accounting Experience

Xtrategist CPA firm in Marietta,GA is looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to provide general support to management and office staff in the Tax, Audit, and Consulting departments, as well as day to day administrative support. Xtrategist provides a great opportunity to build your career.


This role will be approximately 20-25 hours a week with some flexibility for remote/flexible work hours and the possibility to be promoted to a full-time position


  • Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
  • Greet and direct visitors and clients
  • General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
  • Computer typing skills are required for the job
  • Excel, word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF document modifications.
  • Retrieve documents from filing system
  • Handle requests for information and data
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Maintain office supply inventories
  • Maintain client lists and status of work of each client.


  • Excel, Word and Adobe PDF skills are a must
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record-keeping
  • Fluent in Spanish is a PLUS
